GetWordCraft is an independent website about WordCraft, the free and open-source word processor from the ArtCraft team. We explain what WordCraft can do, help you download the right version for your computer and keep track of new releases, in English and Chinese.

We are not the WordCraft project

GetWordCraft is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ArtCraft. We don’t develop WordCraft and can’t offer official support. For the official project, go to WordCraft on getartcraft.com or the GitHub repository.

Where our information comes from

  • Descriptions of features and limitations are based on the project’s README, documentation and release notes. Pages say which version they were checked against.
  • Version numbers, release dates, file sizes and checksums are read automatically from the official GitHub releases and refreshed every few minutes.
  • Screenshots come from the WordCraft repository, where they are published under the MIT and Apache-2.0 licences.

Downloads

We don’t host, repackage or modify WordCraft. Every download link on this site, including the short /dl/ links, leads to a file in the official GitHub releases. Each release lists SHA-256 checksums, so you can check that a file is genuine.

Who writes this site

GetWordCraft is written and maintained by a small, independent team of editors. Pages are published without personal bylines, and the site as a whole is responsible for what it publishes.

Corrections and contact

WordCraft changes quickly, and we sometimes fall behind. If something here is wrong or out of date, email [email protected]. Bug reports about WordCraft itself belong on the project’s GitHub issue tracker.

Trademarks

WordCraft is developed by the ArtCraft team. The ArtCraft name and logos are trademarks of the ArtCraft Team. Microsoft and Microsoft Word are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. These names are used on this site only to describe the software.
